Carpenter Bee Removal

Carpenter bees love cedar wood. If you have cedar fencing, cedar decks, you will attract carenter bees.

If you’re concerned about carpenter bees and the damage they can cause to your home, you’re not alone. Beginning in early spring, they emerge and buzz around. Although these bees are large, they aren’t known to bite or sting humans. They are very annoying and most people want them removed. They look like bumble bees, but act more aggressive, although they don't generally sting.

The problems homeowners face when it comes to carpenter bees is the aesthetic damage they inevitably cause and the associated pests that they draw in.

Treating of wood attached to house, up to 3 stories

Treat wood on decks attacjed to home. Most holes made by these bees are underneath wood surfaces

Sometimes we plug holes to prevent bees for reusing holes as nest following year

We do not repair wood as part of this service. You may want to wait until fall to have wood repaired

Carpenter bees can also nest in dry tree branches and wood debris left in areas around your home. Cover piles of wood with a plastic tarp to prevent nesting by bees.
