We have dumpsters from 10 yards up to 40 yards. Here is how it works. You pick the size dumpster you need, based on how much stuff you have. You will be amazed at how much stuff you may have. We have it delivered to you on the date you pick. The driver will call you to let you know approximately what time they will arrive. You may want to be there for the delivery, so they can place it where you want it, as best as they can and show you how to close the front walk-in door, for your convenience. You have 7 days to fill it up. You can keep it longer, but you will pay a daily fee of $10-$20. When finished filling it up, you simply call the service provider to pick it up. You do not usually have to be there for the pickup.
If you are putting in heavy items, like concrete, you may only be allowed to fill the dumpster up to 75%. Each dumpster size has a weight limit, which you will pay for weight above that limit. If you overfill the dumpster above the line near the top; the service provider has the option of not picking up the dumpster, until you remove enough items to be below the line. They will instruct you when they deliver the dumpster.
They will also give you a list of prohibited items, such as toxic chemicals, paints, liquids, gasoline, kerosine, tires, batteries, propane tanks, flammable materials, stumps, oil products, appliances, etc.
Each size dumpster we show will have a limit of weight and size and approximate number of pickup loads it holds, so you have a reference point.
Some of the larger dumpsters can scratch a driveway or leave indentations on lawns. WetCrow.com and our service providers are not responsible for any damage to your property. You should have enough clearance, free of any obstructions to allow truck to place dumpster in a convenient spot on your property.
It is fun to watch how the truck delivers and picks up the dumpster. On pickup, a tarp rolls over the top of the dumpster, as it is rolled on to the truck that takes the dumpster away. Using a dumpster is better than having a junk removal compay come and pick up the junk items. In that case, you would have to stage the items on your lawn or driveway. Many subdivisions or towns prohibit that and may fine you more than the cost of a dumpster. Some localities have time limits on how long you can have a dumpster on your property.
